Pour Tours

Come hang at the roastery to try out some different coffees. We'll discuss our favorite pour-over recipes and techniques while sharing our beans with each other.

The setup:
6 individuals will bring a coffee they'd like to share with the community. There will be 6 different stations set up at the roastery for each brewer to prepare their coffee, enough for the whole group to share. Once the coffees are brewed, each person will be given the floor to describe their coffee, their brew method/recipe, and what they taste or what they like about the coffee. After each brewer has spoken, all attendants may tour the room to sample each pour.

We have 6 spots open for anyone to showcase a coffee they're currently enjoying. These spots will be filled first come, first serve. To sign up for a spot, please email Kimberly at sprociety.chatt@gmail.com. If you want to fill one of these spots, you need to have your own coffee to bring and brew. You should bring your gear, but if you need anything (grinder, scale, kettle, filters, brew device, etc.) let me know and we'll set you up.

You do not have to be a brewer to attend this event! You're welcome to come just to taste and share in the bounty of specialty coffee that is available. You also do not have to be a barista or even have a home setup to attend - this event is for anyone who is interested.
