Seva in the City- Gift of Warmth

Seva in the City is simply homeless outreach but broadly it's the act of immersing oneself in service. There is no political affiliation and the experience is meant to be secular

The Plan

Depending on the weather and turnout, I hope to visit the homeless encampment at the Allan Gardens and dispense our donations.

Bring one of the items on the Donation List below. All new volunteers are required to let me know what they're bringing in advance through the discussion below.

Donation List

1. 5 Pairs of Gloves
2. 5 Toques
3. 10-15 Pairs of Socks
4. 15-20 Bananas
5. Baked Goods (hopefully individually wrapped)

Reminders

1. You're free to bring other items as well, e.g. gently worn clothes. However, all items not on the donation list should be run by me beforehand.
2. Dress Appropriately for the weather!!!! Our outreach work is always outdoors.
3. Pls let me know beforehand by updating your RSVP if you cannot attend so we're not waiting around for you.
