On Saturday, Feb 8th, at 2pm, we'll offer a pruning demonstration and Q&A at the Spruill Farm presented by long-time Spruill Farm volunteer, plant nurseryman, and naturalist Clay Coor. The focus will be on fruit trees including blueberries and figs, but we may discuss muscadines, roses, or flowering shrubs if the opportunity arises. Bring your shears and your questions as we shape the fruit trees and bushes on the farm this winter. Workshop fee: $12.00. (includes refreshments)

Bonus: **Would you like to buy a fig tree?** We'll be taking orders at the workshop.

The organization owns and manages the 110 acre Spruill Conservation Farm on the south shore of the Albemarle Sound, and runs the artist residency program out of a 1932 peanut processing mill in Edenton, NC, on the north shore of the sound.*
