For this month's SQL Supper we are heading over to Spektrix to hear about their migration from on premise SQL Server to to Azure with the help of Sabin.io

Perry and Mark Allison will talk on how the Spektrix team, with help from Sabin.io, is migrating from SQL Server 2012 to Azure SQL Database Elastic Pools, involving engineering out features that are not available in Azure SQL PaaS

Spektrix is a .NET / SQL Server based multi tenant SaaS Platform for ticketing, CRM, fundraising and box office administration for Arts and Cultural sector organisations. Spektrix provides this platform to around 400 arts organisation clients in UK, Ireland, USA and Canada ranging from small theatres to complexes such as The Barbican Centre.
