We'll dive into what we mean by REST, why it may not be the right tool for every job, talk a little about gRPC and introduce a tool for writing REST services with a gRPC backend, then move on to a live demo in Go using the capabilities of the tooling.

Johan has been doing Go and open source since 2016, has worked at companies ranging from single person startups to multi-national enterprises and given talks all around the world, but is now mostly working on his trail running goals for the Squamish 50.
