ENGINEERING WITH PURPOSE

The John Lewis Partnership's purpose is "Working in Partnership for a Happier World".

The purpose influences everything that we do, including how we build and run software.

The ENGINEERING WITH PURPOSE meetup (formerly SQUID meetup) is for all like-minded engineers, whether or not you work for the Partnership, to talk about and hear about software engineering that leads to happier people, happier businesses and a happier world.

We aim to bring you industry leading speakers talking about modern engineering approaches, practices and culture.

Additionally meetings will give you a chance to hear about the engineering we do in the Partnership, meet Partner engineers and talk to them about their work, and also get the inside track on who the Partnership are looking to recruit at the moment.

We'd love to attract people from a range of backgrounds, including front-end engineering, back-end engineering, quality engineering, data engineering, platform engineering and analysis / requirements engineering.
