November's Art Journaling Lunch Break!

We meet every first Tuesday at SEEDS (706 Gilbert St.). Street parking is easy to find; walk all the way back through the garden to the outdoor classroom space!

Bring a journal (and your lunch, if you like).

We've been taking inspiration from the tarot. In December, we encounter the Hermit, who holds up a guiding light. What lights do we hold up, to lead us through the dark?

We'll use very cool electronic elements to make our journal pages actually light up!

All supplies are provided - we'll need an accurate head-count for this one, though, so please keep your rsvp up to date!

We will be coloring mini-mandalas with your own choice of inspirational words or affirmations. These can be hung as ornaments, kept on a keychain, given as gifts, etc.

We'll be sitting at a table near the stairs, because (ahem) that's where the outlet is for the little device that shrinks the art.

All materials provided -- come on out, get a beverage, and take a few minutes to color yourself a little talisman of hope, courage, and joy.

(We moved November's happy hour into December because life.)

Grab a beverage and join us for an easy-sew DIY Krampus! All materials provided; the only sewing skill needed is the super basic ordinary stitch.

NOTE -- Durham's Krampus Parade is on Sat Dec 13th, downtown! It's truly one of the highlights of the season.

Seriously, MeetUp's available "tags" for events are hopeless! There's no tag for "Krampus," or even for "monster." Sheesh.
