February Art Journaling Lunch Break!

We meet every first Tuesday (usually at SEEDS).... but WEATHER!

We have consulted the Oracles and decided to play it safe -- we'll gather online for this Art Journaling meetup!

Rebecca will demo the steps for How to Draw a Lion, and then we'll show some examples of different ways to make it come alive, so to speak.

You'll want to gather up art supplies at home so you have them handy! A pencil and eraser for sure -- and markers, paint, scrap papers/glue, are all great to have around.

We've been taking inspiration from the tarot. Our next card is STRENGTH, which is -- almost universally -- depicted as a woman with a lion.

What kind of strength do you want to summon for yourself? What sort of lion would it be, if it were a lion? We'll fill up a journal page with a lion of your very own.

We'll start with a short tutorial on how to draw a realistic lion face -- and then we'll go wild (see what I did there) with wide-open options for how to finish (cut-out lines, paint, stamps, decoupage, etc).
