Antifascist Hat Tag

This is not a "Sat at 10 event" -- this will be ongoing for a few weeks. Join in when you like! (However, if you have questions, we'll be online Sat at 10 and you can pop in the chat! link below)

StringThing is hosting a game a Hat Tag. We are using a hat pattern available through a yarn shop in Minneapolis. It's based on a hat worn by WWII resistance in Norway.

Hat Tag (in a nutshell):
-- you sign up with your name and address
-- you get a "target"
-- you knit the hat, and then deliver it to your target ("TAG!")
-- that person then begins knitting a hat for their target, etc.
-- we ask for your address so that someone can "tag" you, via porch dropoff, or post. It is shared ONLY with someone attempting to make you a hat.

It's a very easy pattern and suitable for beginning knitters. They also offer a crochet version!
