Cross posting!

Our sister group, Durham StringThing, is a fiber arts group meeting every Sunday morning (for going on 20 years now!). We're currently meeting at the Can Opener (no surprise, we might as well just live there lol) and although in theory we meet at 10 am, most folks show up around 10:30.

Most of the StringThing folks knit and crochet on Sunday morning, but many also spin, weave, and embroider. A bunch of people were interested in taking up the popular-online Ann Wood 100 Day Stitch Book, a little hand sewing project based on doing about 15 minutes of stitching a day.

We're not all strictly doing 15 minutes a day, obviously, though some of us might. But we figured we could all get a start on it together. (The initial construction of the book is simple but not immediately obvious, so perhaps a little easier to do as a group.)

If anybody is interested in joining in, you're very welcome! I've listed this event for Sunday May 17th, but we'll still be working on it for a good while after.
