Aśka and Reimena Yee launch THE FRIENDSHIP PARADOX!

Have you met Aśka? They're coming all the way from W.A., so join us at Squishface for the Melb launch of “The Friendship Paradox”!

We're celebrating the recent release of Aśka's YA graphic novel on THURSDAY 13 AUGUST with the brilliant Reimena Yee. Aśka and Reimena will chat about comics, communicating ideas, visual storytelling, and why drawing is a language like no other. We’ll also have a hands-on activity, signings, stickers, and good comics energy all around.

“The Friendship Paradox” is about a science-obsessed young person trying to understand friendship using the laws of physics… and discovering lots of things about relationships along the way.

If you love comics, science, storytelling, or just curious conversations, this one’s for you.

Squishface is located at Studio Hall in South Melbourne: 317-329 Dorcas St. There are FOUR TRAMS you can catch from the city. 58, 96, 12 or the 1! It is even walkable from the city.

Studio Hall is on the grounds of St Kilda South Port Uniting Church. Can't find us from the street? Here's an instagram video showing where we are. You simply enter from the street, walk up toward the big bluestone church, then go left to the car park and you will find Studio Hall!
