Group Hike - NCT - Border Hike State Line to MacQuarrie

Spring is coming...time for a hike in two different states. This walk on brand new 2023-built trail will take us from Minnesota to Wisconsin. Will we need our snowshoes? Only Mother Nature knows for sure...bring them if you think you'll need them.

Meet at the State Line Trailhead, 6 CR-4, Wrenshall, MN 55797, at 10 AM. We'll hike 4.5 miles on part of the historic Loop Line Grade, through Carlton County woodlands, and along the bluff of Clear Creek into Wisconsin, to MacQuarrie Trailhead. Distance: 4.5 miles. Your hike leader is Peter Nordgren, a founding member of the Brule-St. Croix Chapter.
