Wildflower Hike - Jay Cooke State Park Visitor Center to Wild Valley Trailhead

Join us on the Minnesota side to hike on the Superior Hiking Trail/NCT in Jay Cooke State Park and the Nemadji State Forest. 6 miles, sponsored by the NCTA Arrowhead, Brule-St. Croix, and Kekekabic Chapters. We'll see late spring wildflowers and might catch the annual appearance of showy ladyslippers.
Meet at the SHT Wild Valley Trailhead no later than 9:30 AM to carpool to the Jay Cooke Visitor Center, or meet at Jay Cooke at 10 AM if you wish to hike out-and-back. Dress for the weather, bring water, snacks, and bug repellent. Optional group lunch afterward at the nearby Wabegon Grill.
