Advanced Sock Knitters Meetup
If you know your way around a gusset decrease without checking a manual, this is the circle for you. We are hosting a specialized meetup for advanced knitters ready to dive deep into the architecture of the sock.
Please note: This is not a beginner workshop or a formal course. This is a gathering of experienced makers intended for peer-to-peer inspiration and high-level troubleshooting.

What We’re Leveling Up
While there is no formal curriculum, we will be focusing on:

• Sock Construction Support: Stuck on a complex heel flip or a decorative toe? We’ll be provide technical peer support for tricky constructions.
• Sock Madness 2026 (optional): We are doing a deep dive into the upcoming Sock Madness competition! We’ll discuss the competitive landscape and walk through exactly how the registration process works so you're ready when the clock starts. The registration for the Sockmadness 2026 will be open between February 1 and 14.

Skills Required
To ensure the group can focus on advanced topics, attendees should already be comfortable with:

• Knitting in the round (Magic Loop, DPNs, or 9" circulars).
• Standard heel and toe constructions.
• Reading complex charts.
• Basic lace, cables, or stranded colorwork.
