The Horn does a weekly Sunday afternoon open mic session, primarily showcasing singer/songwriters. And for this session, Phil who plays in "Dirty Acoustics "that we've seen a few times will be doing a spot.
Much more chilled than our normal band visits. Good for a bit of Sunday Afternoon relax.

Blue Angel Open Mic, now in its 27th year at the Horn, St.Albans.
We feature local artists and floorspots in a professional setting with stage, P.A, tables and chairs, and hosted by Bill. All acoustic styles are welcome and the emphasis is on music and fun, and a good time for all!"
Music starts at 3pm. Not sure if we'll be in the main pub (and wander in & out to see music), or take up position in the back room. We'll decide on the day.
The open mic part is where they show bands, so the main part of the pub operates as usual.

I've certainly seen plenty of bands there.
