St. John's Poker Club (East Queens)

We're a new, quickly growing group of friends who enjoy getting together to play some poker! It's a home game except, instead of it being an already-existing group of friends deciding to play some weekly poker, we're building in reverse, aiming to use the game to bring together like-minded strangers who just might become friends by the end of a night. We've already built a very strong core of group members who enjoy playing together and we'd love to expand our little social circle. The vast majority of members are college students or men and women in their early to mid-20's. Some know a thing or two about poker, some are just getting into it. All levels are welcome, but the atmosphere is constructed to be both light and fun. If you're a young person in the big city who likes poker and you're looking to branch out and meet some new people, this is the perfect setting to do it. Even though we're mostly a young group, the game is open to anyone of any age as long as they're interested in playing in that kind of setting. You won't find the kind of grumps that populate tables at other games in this area in this game.
