The 6th annual BulFest in Madison, IL is a celebration of the Bulgarian-Americans who immigrated to the St Louis area largely in the early 1900s. They settled in the Granite City / Madison IL area to work in the Granite City factories. Today, the majority of Bulgarian descendants in the US live in Illinois.

BulFest takes place at Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Bulgarian church. During the festival, the church is open with placards detailing the history of Bulgarians in the St Louis area and other cultural displays.

There will also be Bulgarian food, music, and drink.
