Today, the structure houses a museum of Belleville's brewing history. The building is on the National Registrar of historic places.
"Adam Gintz had this saloon constructed in 1895 to provide rental income after he retired as president of Western Brewery - the future maker of Stag Beer. The Gintz family retained ownership of the building until 1922. From 1895 until 2010 the building served as a saloon or tavern except for the Prohibition years of 1920-1933." from Belleville Historical Society facebook page
