TEN years - WOW! Amazing what we have seen in the 10 years since this group started in January 2016.

2025 was our year of seeing (mostly) 20th century history. Most popular events were:
Psychiatric Hospital (not 20th century! but the rest were), the Magic Chef House, the FredMar Anheuser estate, New Cathedral, and the Lustron House. Altogether we went to 14 houses, 11 museums, 10 walking tours, 6 churches, 3 buildings, and 1 bus tour. Plus we took weekend trips to Hermann; Quincy, IL; Rockford, IL; and New Harmony, IN.

We had 213 members attend at least one event in 2025 (not counting guests), on average if you came to 1 event, you came to 5. Kat came to 35.

What's coming for 2026?
In 2026 we go back to our colonial roots. We have 44 events scheduled for 2026 - 18 of them we've never done before. Most of the 44 are sites where the earliest history of St. Louis took place. The oldest houses - 6 built before 1800, the first churches (all-time favorite Holy Families, and of course Old Cathedral), walking tours celebrating downtown. and plenty of museums. We'll go on 4 weekend trips: Carthage, MO; Evansville, IN; Topeka, KS; and Nashville, TN.

As always, remember - sign up! Typically everyone on the waitlist makes it in to the event eventually - but it may be day-of as last minute cancellations occur.
