March is Women's History Month, so let's go on a walking tour about famous women in St Louis.

2. This is NOT the Beyond the Ballot walking tour we did last year. This is a NEW tour we have not done - don't let the name fool you!

3. If there is enough interest, we can add a 3rd tour on Saturday at 1pm.

"Because this is where it all started, this walking tour traces women’s stories from the earliest days of St. Louis through the Civil War, the industrial age, and the civil rights era. This tour goes beyond suffrage to explore women’s lived experiences across different moments in the city’s history. Along the way, we’ll meet both named individuals and the countless women whose stories are harder to find, using downtown sites to illuminate the roles women played in shaping St. Louis from the ground up."

NOTE: Don't let the pictures mislead you either! They are just a group of famous women from St Louis, but most won't be on the tour - particularly since they are from much more recent times!
