So last month was fun. All that serialized fun with serial protocols while eating breakfast cereals. That's how I remember it, anyway.

But mostly, everyone seemed really keen on the logic analyzer got brought out. Which is logical. It's a pretty neato gadget, analytically speaking.

We also said we were going to continue with our primer on hardware hacking talks. So after much deliberation, which totally for realzies took the whole month to work on and absolutely wasn't decided at the last minute because it's what we could get working yesterday afternoon, we are going to dive back into more Logic Analyzer usage.

It is an important tool for this kind of thing. I mean, last month we showed you how to use it to decode known serial protocols. But what if you don't know what it is? What if it's something completely different?

Well Bob and I are going to show you how to take a completely unknown protocol and reverse engineer it.

And to really show off, we may even show you how to write a custom decoder for it so the analyzer software will understand it.

As usual, doors at 6:00 and talk 7:00.
