Azure IoT Cloud Platform

The upcoming Azure Meetup will feature a presentation on Azure IoT by Chad Lich, a Microsoft Sr. IoT Technical Specialist. Chad will walk us through the entire Azure IoT cloud platform, including IoT Central (SASS) and the numerous PAAS services (i.e. IoT Hub, DPS, Digital Twins).

He will also cover the investments Microsoft has made in the Intelligent Edge (i.e. Azure Sphere, Azure RTOS, Azure Stack). If time allows, Chad will walk us through a demo of IoT Central and potentially do a live Architecture Design Session on the Surface Hub.

Chad has been with Microsoft for almost 5 years, and for the last 2.5 years, he has been focused on helping partners build Azure IoT enabled products and services. He has been in IT for over 26 years, and prior to Microsoft, he was focused on Application Development and BI.
