Scott Crawford, System Engineer with Cloudera will present an introduction to Apache Kudu. Kudu holds great promise for the Hadoop ecosystem being a table-based storage subsystem. Kudu promises to be great at high concurrency Random IO (ala Hbase), and also great at scanning analytic workloads as well (ala parquet/HDFS). Now you can have your cake and eat it too!
