Data Modeling in Hadoop

Our presentation with discuss how to navigate through multitude of data modeling choices that are available on a distributed data platform like Hadoop. This topic is especially relevant in light of the most common architecture pattern, Hadoop offload, in modern enterprise data fabrics.

About our speaker:
Naveen Pinjani, is a Business Analytics & Technology professional with over 17 years of experience. His specialties include Big Data Analytics, Data & Analytics Strategy and Technology Architecture. As the Director of Big Data Analytics for Daugherty Business Solutions, he is helping companies in the area of Modernizing Enterprise Data Strategy, New Operating Models, “Mode 2” Data Architectures, Real-Time Analytics and Data Governance.

Prior to joining Daugherty, Naveen was a Consulting Partner at Tata Consultancy Services where he performed technology advisory and consulting service for Fortune 50 clients. Naveen has been in a number of Consulting roles across many clients including JPMC, HSBC, Pfizer, Amgen, PepsiCo, Federal Reserve, and many other’s in both Public and Private Sector.

Naveen received a Master’s from Southern Methodist University in in Business Administration and a Master’s from DA University in Computer Science. Naveen is an avid photographer and a tennis player.
