In this presentation Matt Wyczalkowski will explore the pioneering work being done at Wash U on the human genome project and cancer genomics, and how that led to large scale bioinformatics pipelines used for research and clinical applications today.

We'll talk about spatial transcriptomics and its role in revolutionizing our understanding of tumor biology, and the Wash U lab's role in generating and publishing such data for use by researchers worldwide. Finally we will touch on how work like this is essential to make such data AI ready.
