St. Louis Hadoop Users Group Meetup (Special Meeting)

NOTE: Our May meeting is a special event, held on a different day (Thursday) and in a different place (Central West End).

Join the St. Louis Hadoop Users Group as we participate in the Big Data Super SIG (http://itenstl.org/iten-big-data-special-interest-group-super-meetup/), in collaboration with ITEN (http://itenstl.org/network/about-iten/), the St. Louis R User Group (https://www.meetup.com/Saint-Louis-RUG/), and the St. Louis MongoDB User Group (https://www.meetup.com/Saint-Louis-MongoDB-User-Group/). This event brings together three local data-related user groups, so you'll get to hear Josh Deckard from Answers talk describe his experiences building highly-scalable solutions with MongoDB, and Nalini Polavarapu from Monsanto talk about her experience using R.

We're very excited to announce that Craig Hibbeler, Principal for Big Data and Security at Mastercard Advisors (http://www.mastercardadvisors.com/), will represent the St. Louis Hadoop Users group at this event. Craig's talk will discuss how the company protects sensitive data and helps secure the enterprise data hub.
