What we’re about
The target audience for this group is committed couples from 40 to 60 (give or take - not a hard rule) looking to build lasting friendships. We'll do a mix of activities like food tours, happy hours, wineries, movies, dinners, game nights, concerts, walking tours, dancing, parties, festivals, exploring the area and anything else that sounds fun.

Science Center Up Late: Laws of Attraction
Saint Louis Science Center, 5050 Oakland Avenue, St. Louis, MO, USLove is in the air…Discover the science of attraction during an adults-only night at the Science Center. From the chemistry of pheromones to the physics of gravity, explore the forces that bring us together.
Unique cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks will be available for purchase; not included in ticket price.

- Love and Game Shows - Take part or watch from the crowd as we play "The Dating Game", "The Newly and Not-so Newlywed Game,” and "Singled Out.”
- Live demonstrations on the Energy Stage - Discover which elements like to be single vs. those which like to mingle.
- Silent Disco - Dance to your heart's content without disrupting your neighbors as this popular activity returns to Up Late.
- Audio Attraction - Join these activities to learn if favorite sounds and musical notes bring us closer or keep things apart.
- Maker Mirror - Grab a friend or lover to recreate simple models. One catch: one of you can see but not touch, while the other can build but not look at the original.
- Building couples - Explore our Structures gallery or the Dream It Built It exhibit to erect the Science Center's iconic catenary arch, skyscrapers that flex in an earthquake, a stable bridge, or whatever you can dream up.
- 2 Scientists Walk into a Bar - Learn from local STEM experts by using your best pickup line to ask them anything.
