What we’re about
Love craft beer? So do we. With all the craft breweries in the St. Louis area, the plan is to get together and check out the scene. The breweries, the bars, the events - all that good stuff. We want to drink good beer, have fun and occasionally learn something. Official Code of Conduct - Must like accomplishing nothing - Sense of humor is not optional - In depth knowledge of craft beer is welcome but far from expected - Appreciation of everything beer a must - Pants are not optional
It costs us $200/yr in Meetup fees to keep this group running. Please considering chipping in with a donation to our venmo account @STLCraftBeer (0483 are the last 4 digits of the phone number if prompted)

- Sunday Funday @ Bluewood BreweryBluewood Brewing, St. Louis, MO
Come join for a relaxing mid-afternoon at Bluewood Brewing Company to enjoy some delicious beer! They have a beautiful taproom with a cool chandelier, and tables that should be able to handle our group size. They also have an outdoor covered patio, but we will probably stick to the inside due to the cold weather. In addition to beer, they also offer mead, wine, whiskey, and N/A options to drink.
In addition to drinks, there will also be food available from B. McArthur’s Neighborhood Taco Joint, which runs a separate kitchen window inside the taproom. Their menu offers a rotation of tacos, burritos, and more with staple sharable snacks like nachos, loaded fries, and chips & queso.
I will also bring a couple board games to play if the conversation comes to a lull and our hands are clean from eating food.
See you at the brewery!
- StilL 630 Distillery Second Friday Experimental ReleaseStilL 630 Distillery, St. Louis, MO
Come on out for a Friday evening of delicious cocktails and liquor tasting at StilL 630! I know we usually keep these events to craft beer, but I feel a local craft distillery deserves all the same love that local craft beer deserves!
On Fridays StilL 630 opens their doors to the public to create a weekly cocktail bar with a new specialty cocktail menu each month featuring the delicious spirits manufactured on site and ingredients mostly from the Soulard Market bought fresh that day. In addition to the unique cocktails that change every month, they also offer tasting flights, traditional cocktails, shot of the month, and straight pours of the liquors. Cocktail prices range in price from $8-12.
They also give new monthly samples of their Experimental Spirits Program for FREE! This is their journey to find the most amazing recipes of the future. They are searching for incredible mash bills for single malt, wheat whiskey, brandy, tequila, smoked whiskey, barrel-aged gin, bourbon, rum, etc. We will receive a tasting of the month's experimental tasting and then rate it.
This event will take place inside the distillery. Normally, the cocktail bar is open from 5 PM til 9 PM but due to the crowds before 7 PM, I have organized us to not bother arriving until 7:15. It is ok if you show up late, but the distillery closes at 9 PM so plan accordingly.
See you at the distillery!
