The Game Dev Duel (http://www.gamedevduel.com/) is more than half over! You should have something that looks a little like a game by now. Congrats! Regardless of your progress please bring your team to this meetup along with whatever you need to show progress (HDMI compatible, please).
Agile Software Development Coach and co-organizer of the Agile Product Ownership St. Louis Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/Agile-Product-Ownership/events/231602459/)Rose Hemlock will do a short talk on optimal work practices for creative projects, followed by some Q&A. This is to help remote teams work more effectively together and learn how to prioritize their work as we pull into the last few weeks, but should be useful to anyone who wants to improve their productivity.
After Rose's talk and progress updates and we'll do some overall event Q&A then give the teams in-person planning time to talk among themselves. If you need a laptop to assist in planning please bring one. We are expecting to have wifi access so that you can update any shared documents while together.
If you are not participating in the Game Dev Duel, but are interested in seeing team's progress and Rose's talk you are also welcome to come, but please be warned that the content of this talk will be much shorter and focused on the teams participating in the event than usual.
For more details about the Game Dev Duel, please check out http://www.gamedevduel.com . It's never too late to join us!
The St. Louis Game Developer Co-op is dedicated to a harassment-free event experience (http://stlgamedev.com/events/code-of-conduct/) for everyone. All events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise specified.
