Global Game Jam 2025!
Details
We are excited to announce Global Game Jam 2025! Come team up with local creators and make a game over the weekend! This event is open to ALL (even remote friends)! Students from any campus are also welcome.
The official GGJ site registration is now up! REGISTER HERE!
Online and in-person participants are both welcome. The event space at UMSL will be open for the full 48-hours of the jam! For online participation and to stay up to date on event details, join our Discord server!
All participants must abide by the GGJ Code of Conduct and STLGameDev Community Guidelines.
Visitors will be on guest internet, so it’d be more reliable to download large files at home before arriving. Download and install your tools before the jam!
Working on laptops and notebooks is recommended, but we should have space for some desktop computers and monitors if you want to lug those with you!
Some food will be provided at certain times throughout the weekend.
The venue may fill up fast depending on the number of attendees.

Free Parking is available all weekend in the nearby lots N and I, and along West Dr. and Lucas Rd.

FRIDAY JAN 24
- 5:00 PM - begin arriving at ABH 004 presentation room at UMSL College of Business Administration
- 6:00 PM - Keynote & Theme Reveal at ABH 004 presentation room at UMSL College of Business Administration (and Online)
- 6:30 PM - 11:59 PM - open work space at ABH 002, 003, 004, & 005 UMSL College of Business Administration
SATURDAY JAN 25
- 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM - open work space at ABH 002, 003, 004, & 005 UMSL College of Business Administration
- 4:00 PM - create your game page on the GGJ website and make sure all your team members are registered
SUNDAY JAN 26
- 12:00 AM - 4:00 PM - open work space at ABH 002, 003, 004, & 005 UMSL College of Business Administration
- 4:00 PM - games submissions due
- 5:00 PM - closing ceremony and demos at ABH 004 presentation room at UMSL College of Business Administration (and Online)
- 6:00 PM - (or when demos complete) help clean up and go home
