Share & Play: Game Showcase/Playtesting!
Details
Join us for casual game playtesting! This is an opportunity for developers to share their progress, observe playtesting, and get feedback on their projects, and for local game enthusiasts to get their hands on new games, prototypes, and give helpful feedback.
We will be in the Creative Lab upstairs on the second floor!
We encourage everyone to bring game projects that you are working on or recently finished to show off! Game jam games, video games, physical games, student projects, and everything in between!

Submission Guidelines:
- This event is specifically for testing games YOU have made or are working on. It is not a space to play the latest AAA games, games you did not work on, or games that you do not have consent to test in public.
- You will not be able to showcase a game without registering ahead of time. Please arrive at 11:30am to setup your hardware and be ready for playtesting by noon. Individuals who register and do not show up to the event may be excluded from future opportunities.
- Game content should be family friendly. Your game should not contain any explicit violence or adult content. Mild cartoonish violence is acceptable. Keep things relative to PG-13 or Teen rating at most. If you're not sure, check with us about it.
- You must bring your own demo hardware. Laptops, notebooks, tablets, and mobile devices are encouraged. The Creative Lab space has has a limited number of computers that can be used if you want to bring a usb flash drive with a build of your game on it (and a controller if needed). There will not be space for large gaming rigs and monitors. Small board and card games are also allowed, but table space is limited. Make sure to bring gamepads or any other input devices needed to play your game!
- STLGameDev reserves the right to refuse or remove any game from our showcases for any reason.
