(In)Decent Queer Erotic Poetry Night

Have you heard of the new FREE queer erotic poetry open mic series in South City called (In)Decent?? Well if you have (or even if you haven't), it's back this month and we would love to get some STL Sapphics together to bring the sexy and bring the community!! Woo!

The event is hosted by DJ Jillian (of Queertown Underground), Ro (co-organizer of STL Sapphics Meet Up), Klaude & Britta (queer artists & performers), and Ben (activist & Sugar Witch manager)!

Join us on Thursday August 28th for another evening of queer erotic poetry, performance and connection! Sponsored by FEELD and benefiting THISTL (Trans Housing Initiative STL), this open mic-style event invites you to step inside an immersive event of queer community joy. "Indecent" has often been used in a harmful way throughout history to describe homosexuality & queerness. Let's turn that on its head together!

Location: Greenfinch Theater on Jefferson
Doors Open: 6:30pm
Open Mic Sign-Up: 7:00-8:00pm
Event: 8:00pm - 10:00pm
Admission: Free (all donations will go directly to THISTL)

And there will be TWO burlesque performers this time so make sure to bring your singles to tip!!

**UPDATE: Please look for Erin (our co-organizer) when you get to the event if you want to sit and chat with the STL Sapphics! Erin is 5'11'' and will be there in a sexy red dress! Or feel free to mingle with other (In)Decent guests if you'd rather fly solo for this queer event!**
