Cleaning and Presenting Big Data with Python and Power BI

Details

Teams Meeting: Link

Abstract:
In the world of pharmaceutical benefits, harnessing the power of big data is important for informed decision-making. This presentation will explain the process of wrangling large datasets from disparate Pharmaceutical Benefit Managers (PBMs). Using Python, specifically the Pandas library, we navigate the process of data cleaning and normalization to ensure consistency across varied PBM datasets.
Additionally, we will demonstrate the visualization tools of Power BI in rendering complex pharmaceutical benefit data into intuitive and insightful reports. These visualizations are designed to meet the needs of both clients and consultants, ensuring accessibility and understanding of the complex realm of pharmaceutical benefits. Attendees will gain insights into the practical application of Python for data transformation, the nuances of handling large data, and the process of creating compelling visual narratives using Power BI.
