Mouse Guard: One Shot
Details
It's autumn in the Territories and the first touch of winter has come early. The wood are rimed in hoarfrost and mice across the wood are preparing to settle in a long winter.
The Guard have received word from the settlement of Appleloft - a request for aid. Harvestmice are unable to begin work on the much needed apple harvest. A fox has claimed the grove as his own. In a strange twist, the beast appears to be hoarding the apples in a nearby stump and obsessively guarding the windfall stash day and night.
Gwendolyn, the matron of the Mouse Guard, has gathered your patrol to venture out into the cold autumn forest and assist. For the good of all mousekind.

About the System
Inspired by the graphic novels by David Petersen of the same name. Assume the role of the Mouse Guard, a band of anthropomorphic mouse rangers who patrol and protect the Mouse Territories.
Mouse Guard has a narrative-focus with character-driven storytelling. It uses a version of the Burning Wheel resolution mechanic that can be taught in a single session.
