SVCG & FCCC (A/B Groups) - Estes Park

WHEN: 2016 has seen the collaboration of SVCG and Fort Collins CC on 2 rides, since these have been a great success, we are adding one more this season!.

ROUTE: 59 mile Out-n-back from Loveland up Hwy 34 & through Glen haven. WHAT: The Club rides are "NO DROP" (except for the A group), we will re-group at the top of hills, and at any turns where necessary

GROUP Aero: This group will be at a faster pace (18+mph average) DROP/NO-STOP

GROUP Breakaway: This group will be at a medium/fast pace (15 to 18mph average) NO-DROP

GROUP Chasers: This group will be at a slower pace, and may follow a shorter route. (14 to 15mph average) NO-DROP

Typically Group A & B will be split into A1 & A2/B1 & B2, Group C will have a leader when available, otherwise maps will be issued. The pace range may vary slightly between each A & B group, within the 15-18+ range.

WHO: This is a road bike ride for people who have experience riding on the road with traffic. Please only sign up if you are confident you can complete the above described ride/route (distance, pace etc).

RIDE NOTES: Rides roll out no more than 5 minutes after advertised start time, please arrive early & be ready to roll on time.

• Come prepared for mechanical breakdowns (bring spare tube, patch kit, tire levers, multi-tool).

• Be sure to bring enough water for the length of the ride, especially with warmer weather ahead of us. As a general rule, one bottle of water is good for 1 hour of riding (8oz per 20 mins of ride time).
