## STACKIT User Group x Camunda Chapter Hamburg Crossover

Join us on 13 October 2026 for a special crossover between the STACKIT User Group Hamburg and the Camunda Chapter Hamburg, hosted at Consid in the Speicherstadt.

Camunda 8 on STACKIT: From reference architecture to running platform

Stefan Schultz from Consid will share how he brought Camunda 8 Self-Managed to the STACKIT cloud. He starts with a short introduction to Camunda 8 and STACKIT, then maps Camunda’s AWS single-region reference architecture component by component to the corresponding STACKIT services.

From there, Stefan moves beyond the first successful deployment. He covers the main decisions behind separate test and production environments, including identity, Terraform and GitOps, network access, backups, and operations. He also explains how he used a coding agent during the build and how he approached load testing, capacity planning and operating costs.

Camunda practitioners will get a concrete look at running Camunda 8 Self-Managed outside the documented reference clouds. STACKIT engineers will see how the cloud’s services fit together to support a stateful Kubernetes platform. The session covers the work required to make the deployment repeatable and ready to operate under load.

The talk will be held in German, with slides in English.
