CSS is dead, long live CSS
Elliot Evans ( https://twitter.com/EIIiotEvans )

In the fast paced world of web development, new standards are made and there are new architectures to follow and it seems writing vanilla CSS is no longer common practice. Despite this CSS is always considered as a styling language which does not do as much as you want, form the early days of the internet proposing new standards to the modern day where developers are using different languages to enhance there ability to style websites.

The talk explore why CSS is no longer being used such as: why there has been a huge shift in recent years away to other languages such as SCSS? What is CSS-in-JS and why it exists? Future of CSS / CSS Working drafts and to conclude why the language is not dead.
