“In 1875, world-famous opera singer Alice Alquist is murdered at her home in London. Her niece Paula, also an opera singer, marries her accompanist Gregory Anton after a whirlwind romance. They occupy her late aunt's townhouse, but as strange and disturbing things start to happen, Paula fears she might be going mad."
