“Married couple John and Laura, grieving the recent death of their young daughter, temporarily relocate to Venice. They encounter two elderly sisters, one of whom, to Laura's elation and John's disgust, claims to be a psychic in communication with their daughter. She also brings a vague but dire warning of encroaching danger."
