Rimini Protokoll's "Adolph Hitler: Mein Kampf Vol. 1 & 2” (2016 performance)
Details
Germany’s cutting-edge “non-fiction” theater company Rimini Protokoll sets out on the trail of Adolf Hitler’s inflammatory writings, and attempts to fathom an explanation for the enduring myth of “Mein Kampf." First published in 1925, by the end of WWII millions of copies were in circulation. The book’s copyright, held by the State of Bavaria, expired at the end of 2015. The debate as to whether the book should be republished – and if so, how – is in full swing, despite the fact that it is available from antiquarian dealers and on the internet, not to mention its steady sales in a number of countries.
This is an online movie discussion group. Participants usually arrive having watched the film beforehand, although you are welcome to attend to listen if you haven't.
