The Zen of Mosaics - 5 week class

The Zen of Mosaics - this class is 5 sessions and you can create one large project and a small project or 4 small projects. You choose what you want to make. The class is $250 and includes the instruction plus all of the supplies and equipment. Some examples of the large projects is to make a stained glass mosaic window, to create a mosaic pet portrait, or to make your own base from styrofoam and covered with tape and thin set and to make pieces to go into your mosaic in pottery and fused glass.

The small projects are fused glass garden art/suncatchers, fused glass nightlights, mosaic suncatchers, a mosaic birdhouse. We will work together on which projects you want to make. If you will miss one of the classes, you can come another day to make up. There are a few Tuesdays when I will be out of town so no class will be held on those dates. For those with mosaic experience, you can participate as an open studio if you have your own project that you want to work on and don’t need supplies or instruction from Karen. She will be glad to offer advice if needed but you need to be able to work mostly independently. Open studio is $25/session.
