Bronson Canyon (urban stairs) meets the Bat Cave (trails)

What: Starts off as a gentle walk with a few staircases and steep streets through interesting old Los Angeles architecture and great views of Hollywood Hills and continuing on up Canyon Drive into Griffith Park and to the Bat Cave. The Bat Cave has been a movie location for quite a long list of movies and is a unique photo stop.

Parking: On Bronson there are signs posting 2 hour parking right by Gelson's. If you go one block north the restriction is lifted.

Bathrooms: Gelson's has rest rooms just inside and to the left towards the coffee shop.

Bring: hiking shoes with good tread, water

Safety: Follow my instructions, no texting and walking, hike on sidewalks only, unless you are instructed to do otherwise. Single file on stairways.
