Start Time: Try to arrive by 2:00pm, the hike will start at 2:15pm.
There is a large parking lot at the corner of Gaffey St. and Paseo Del Mar, there is also street parking on Paseo Del Mar.
Description: The purpose of this hike is to explore the trails and enjoy the views along the San Pedro coast. The hike will include making stops at the Korean Friendship Bell, Point Fermin Lighthouse, and outside Sunken City. The Korean Friendship Bell is a great location to catch the sunset. The pace will be moderate. The hike will be over 5 miles and end within 3 hours.
*It is illegal and considered trespassing when entering Sunken City, you are at your own risk of receiving a fine. There is a fence with trespassing signs around the land. Sunken City (http://onecoolthingeveryweekend.com/2012/10/19/lost-sunken-city-in-san-pedro/)is the ruins of a landslide located in San Pedro. It has a creepy post-apocalyptic look to it, it is full of broken pieces of sidewalk and foundation that are covered with graffiti.
