The Purpose of This Group:
Please note: A membership requirement is to have a clear profile photograoh and a brief conversation with the organizer, Lynda Cesiro (203) 273-6675. Please answer the questions and text your name and best date/time you're available to talk.
This group is for local women of the Stamford/Greenwich area and nearby Norwalk, Darien and New Canaan and the surrounding areas to come together in a spirit of conviviality, to discuss our interests and make connections. If you're from out of these areas, you're welcome to join. Please, however, prepare ahead of time how to find our location and estimate realistic travel time and relevant expenses.
The intention of this group is to connect with women with similar interests. Let's get together to make new friends, and plan new activities.
Our activites include lecturers and community-building movies at a historic theatre. While enjoing activities at these two locations, we try to support local non-profits, such as The Avon Theatre , Greenwich Historical Society and others. Should you consider attending several events yearly, a membership may be a cost effective choice.
Who should join the Stamford/Greenwich Women's Social Group?
Do you find yourself asking friends or loved ones to go on a walk, take a class or other activies, only to find they have other commitments? Then this group is for you. Join these activities, ingratiate with like-minded women to connect for future activites.
We look forward to your suggestions and creative ideas for new adventures for us to share. My hope is that we'll meet new friends who share common interests and eventually become long-term friends.
One final note. Sometimes I post events as FYI ONLY-"Unhosted." Such as day trips (some overnight trips as well) to enjoy solo or with a friend. These listings are especially helpful for those women that are otherwise too busy or new to the area to find the treasure trove of activities right here in own backyard. In reference to the FYI ONLY, I try to curate excellent experiences to support living your best life in Fairfield County, CT.
