Les Musiciens
(English title: The Musicians) is a 2025 French dramatic comedy directed by Valérie Donzelli.
Plot Summary
The story follows Astrid Carlson (played by Valérie Donzelli), the daughter of a deceased billionaire and philanthropist. To honor a final dream her father was unable to fulfill, Astrid decides to organize a "unique concert".

• The Mission: Astrid seeks to unite four priceless 17th-century Stradivarius stringed instruments for a single performance.
• The Conflict: She commissions a new, unperformed score from a contemporary composer, Charlie Beaumont (played by Frédéric Pierrot). However, during the six days of rehearsals leading up to the live-streamed event, the four world-class musicians struggle to play in harmony due to their strong, clashing personalities.
• The Stakes: Astrid risks financial ruin to achieve this goal, much to the frustration of her brother, who has taken over the family business. The film focuses on the emotional and professional friction between the artists as they attempt to form a cohesive ensemble for the "impossible concert".
