The Purpose of This Group:.
Please note: A membership requirement is to have a clear profile photograph and a brief conversation with the organizer, Lynda Cesiro (203) 273-6675. Please answer the questions and text your name and best date/time you're available to talk.
This is a space created by women, for women - to connect with joy, creativity, and purpose. Our intention is simple, to leave each gathering feeling lighter, more inspired, and more connected than when we arrived.
During our first meeting, and each time we meet, we'll put our best foot forward. Please bring your positive energy with you!
This group is for local women well-grounded in the Stamford/Greenwich and surrounding areas. Yes, newcomers are welcome and ask for considerations below.
We're women happy with our lives and have resources such as time and control of our schedule for a MeetUp.
We should be loosely connected through our neighborhood acquaintances. So, the reason for us speaking together before you joining.
We'll come together to make new acquaintances and for shared interests. It's my hope that in between this group's MeetUps, you'll be in touch with fellow kindred spirits.
Some activities of the women in this group are playing sports, race sailboats/other competitions, rowing, Pilates, yoga, travel, horticulture, volunteering, professional careers or being active in their own personal way. Professionals in the arts and sciences are encouraged to join.
What self-enriching activities take up your time? Among several groups, I belong to a few activities clubs and look forward to hearing about your organization affiliations.
If new to the area, were you well-grounded in your previous community? Are you settled into your new home now?
"Make new friends," was my previous motto. Years of experience have shown "friend and friendship" may have different meanings. What does friend/friendship mean to you? For me, creating a friendship takes time.
We'll have get -togethers for you to socialize and connect, these will be Meet & Greet MeetUps. Other MeetUps will be "FYI" to find women with common interests. The FYI may at times be "Unhosted" events. Perhaps you'll connect with a rewarding friendship.
While we honor life's real struggles, this space is about celebrating wins (big and small) and focusing on what fuels us. Together, let's co-create a community that fills our cup and reminds us of the strength and beauty you already hold.

Caveat Emptor
Star Ratings: When I look back at my ratings, I noticed that all the happy women gave 5 stars. Women that create their own positive energy wherever they go. Whereas the few low star ratings came from those most difficult of personalities.
So, my heart goes out to whoever is experiencing a trauma that causes a burning need to talk about their bad situation. However, your trauma-ridden time will be best spent in another group.
TIme & Money
Women in this group will have control of their schedule, be able to plan ahead and have the resources to attend. We're in a post-COVID economy. It shouldn't be a surprise that there've been drastic cost increases in recent years.
This means higher prices and more taxes added onto the bill. In turn this further multiplies out the restaurant/pub bill when adding on a minimum of 20% tip. Please be prepared to pay your full restaurant/pub tab.
Having people sign-up, only to cancel at the last minute is a time-waster of all involved parties. So my reasoning for the following fee. For those times you're not directed to purchase tickets on a website, I will be charging a non-refundable fee.
No refunds upon cancellation. At my discretion, at the end of the night I'll either refund the money to you or give the fee to the restaurant/pub as a courtesy fee. The decision as to the use of money will be my discretion.
At some future date, I'll be charging a small membership. Up till now, I've personally paid out-of-pocket for this APP; going forward I'll share the expense of the APP with the group.
Has life thrown you a curve-ball, such as divorce? Are you looking to reconnect and reinvent your life? If so, are you in a emotional place to leave speedbumps of life for another time and to bring positive energy to the group?

"Unhosted" means I probably won't be there. I don't know how to remove myself as "Host." Please pass along if you know the icon to click that takes me off of "Host" and removes my icon.
FIY - an event that may be of interest and most likely I can't attend due to conflicts in my schedule. This is a way to find others that resonate with your interests.
Meet & Greet - this is your opportunity to show up and meet other people. I might have a "get-to-know" game as a conversation ice-breaker.
Most often, events I'll be attending will be on Wednesday, Thursday or Sunday evenings. The rest of the week I've other activities.
