### About the performers
Erin Crouch
Erin Crouch is an American comedian who lives in Germany, where she produces monthly shows on two US military bases. She recently opened for Netflix comedians April Macie (USA), Dwayne Perkins (USA) and Enissa Amani (Germany). In addition, she has hosted and featured at Cologne International Comedy Festival (October 2024), Boom Chicago Amsterdam (2021 and July 2024) Utrecht International Comedy Festival (2022) and Summer Comedy Marathon festival in Ohrid, N. Macedonia (2023). She performs at corporate events in many industries, including insurance and finance, and teaches stand up classes to adults and teenagers. She co-produces Festrogen, the annual women's comedy festival in Luxembourg (2021- present). Her comedy is neither dirty nor clean but a secret third thing.
Jess Bauldry
Jess is a writer and comedian who claims to have quit being a people pleaser, but let’s be real—she’s still saying “yes” to things she hates. These days, she’s hard at work perfecting her resting bitch face—just kidding, she still smiles at strangers in grocery stores like a weirdo.
When not performing around Europe, Jess is the author of Substack The Alternative Expat Guide to Luxembourg and likes to steal other people’s chips.Joana Costa
After a year and a half of comedy and storytelling in Luxembourg, Joana has carved out one of the most vibrant and distinctive characters on the local scene. Performing in multiple languages — including English, French, Portuguese, and Luxembourgish — Joana brings a truly multilingual flair to the stage, mixing cultures, sharp observations, and a contagious sense of fun in every set. - Starting Stand-up Comedy With Erin CrouchRainbow Center, Luxembourg€40.00

- Master the art of live storytelling: 3-day courseCID Fraen an Gender, Luxembourg€80.00
Everyone has a story in them. But telling personal stories may not come naturally to everyone.
In this three-part workshop, adults can learn how to tell a rich and personal story and bring audiences with them on the journey. What is storytelling?
Storytelling is the social and cultural activity of sharing stories, sometimes with improvisation, theatrics, or embellishment. Every culture has its own stories or narratives, which are shared as a means of entertainment, education, cultural preservation or instilling moral values. If you're new to storytelling, I recommend checking out Mike Birbiglia and The Moth Hour on Youtube to understand our definition of live storytelling. What is storytelling not?
For this workshop, we will not be reading written texts aloud although the workshop does involve writing.
Storytelling in this workshop is not a kind of therapy, although we will be examining our personal narratives to extract authentic stories for sharing. What should I bring with me?
Please bring a notebook and pen. You don't need to come with a story in mind. I will provide you with a story. Over the three days, I will take you step by step through the process of retelling an existing story, finding your own story and identifying the message.
There will also be plenty of games and group work so it is essential that participants can attend all 3 sessions. When is it?
The 3-day workshop takes place on the following dates:18:30-21:00 on Friday 29 August
15:00-19:00 on Saturday 30 August
11:00-17:00 on Sunday 31 August
To get the most out of the workshop, I strongly recommend participants attend all 3.On the last day, there will be a chance for everyone to tell their own story in front of the group, if they feel comfortable.
Included in the participation fee is tea and coffee. You may also bring your own food and there will be refreshment breaks over the three days.
Because of space limitations, advance registration is compulsory. How much?
Participation costs €80, which covers instruction, tea and coffee.
