Comedy Writer's Room and Rehearsal Space

Oi oi Comerades!
You’re invited to come along and break out of your silo's. Stand up can be a quite a solo journey, so we’re hoping by offering this space that we can build a supportive collective. We’re also looking to put on our own events so if that’s something you’re interested in then reach out.
This is a a relaxed space for you to develop and rehearse your bits, seek feedback and support others. No pressure to perform, we're a relaxed bunch. We work around the needs of the group/individuals on the day. So if you have a premise that needs a punchline, we’ll workshop that or if you want to perform to get a feel for your piece that’s cool too. We’re a generous group and we’d love to welcome more folk in.
All weirdos welcome including those yet to get up on the stage. Feel free to turn up at anytime during the allotted slot or leave when needed, we're not strict.

The room is accessible and has capacity for 40 people so ignore the 10 max capacity on meetup and come along if you feel drawn.
We are meeting on Saturday 28th of February at 1pm-4pm in the Tiered Theatrette @ Brisbane Square Library, 266 George St, Brisbane City QLD 4000
