Standley Lake Stargazing

Standley Lake Stargazing (501(c)(3)) is a science and astronomy community dedicated to spreading the wonder of the night sky and space exploration. Anyone who'd like to learn about space, science and engineering, look through a telescope and see the rings of Saturn, or meet like-minded people with a curiosity about the world around them is welcome to join!

We offer weekly educational programs both virtual and in-person covering a range of topics related to space and science, and have multiple outdoor star parties each month throughout the year where you can look at the moon, see deep-sky objects like the Hercules Cluster and Andromeda Galaxy, and of course planets like Jupiter, Saturn and Mars.

There is never an admission charge, we want to connect the community and knock down access barriers to the wonders of science, so come join us!
