Standup Comedy Fans Melbourne

Hi I'm Damien, I'm a big fan of standup comedy (and comedy in general).

Seeing the squillions of people in melbourne pack into venues at the comedy festival made me think-

Surely there is at least a small handful of people that would be up for a regular monthly meetup(?) to:

*Meet new people

*Chat about comedy.

*Share with others the comedy they like (through the magic of staring at eachothers phones in person...or screen sharing via zoom online).

*Recommend to others venues, shows, publications etc that are worth seeing or reading- both during the comedy festival and throughout the year.

The plan is to do monthly meetings of a 1 hour duration either in person or online meets via Zoom- let me know your preference.

About me:
Born and raised in Melb.
I'm not a comedian myself- I've written a few little routines and tried a couple of open mics.
But due to having a young family etc, I don't currently have the time to be anything more than a comedy fan.

Which is fine- cos living in Melbourne is a pretty amazing place to be if you like comedy right?
